Subject: Few Questions Regarding my Upcoming Lung Surgery

Hi everyone,
Can anyone tell me if there is a difference beween a resection an taking a whole lobe out? I am wondering because my chest surgeon said he will take the entire lobe if the nodule is cancer. Was wondering, like with breast cancer todaoy, they do lumpectomies. Do they do that type of thing with lung cancer?

Also, has anyone on this board used selenium as an alternative medicine to help with lung cancer?
