Oral Contraceptives After Leep?

I posted this a while back but no one responded.

I read somewhere that women on birth control (the pill) can develop cervicitis and since birth control changes the cells of the body, I am wondering if being on the pill after being diagnosed with LSIL or HPV or anything of these is really a good idea?  Has anyone's doctor said anything to anyone about this??

I am going in for the LEEP on 4/11 and I am currently on Seasonal.  My doctor told me that the lessened risk of gettting pregnant right now outweigh the downside of having the oral contraceptives possibly change my already mutated cells.  I think it also depends on your age.  Sorry no one responded the first time!  I am new to the boards and I really  hope that you continue to post!  Good luck with everything!!
