Subject: Tarceva/insomnia

My Dad started taking the Tarceva and within 2 weeks he developed the rash on his head and nose. This has since cleared up however he is suffering terrible insomnia. His oncologist ordered Ambien 10mg.,but this doesn't even seem to be working. Has anybody had this kind of experience? and if so, what worked?
