Proton Rx Complications

Subject: Proton Rx Complications

In reseaching prostate Pc, I've been seeing more than a few posts from people treated by Proton radiation who are experiencing rectal bleeding 1 to 2 years after completion of treatment.  I have not noticed the same for people treated by IMRT radiation.   I always thought that Proton Rx had few complications compared with IMRT.  Is it possible that proton rx has more side effects than advertised?
