My husband has had only 2 chemotherapy treatments so far for his tonsil cancer. Now they are preparing for radiation. Can you have chemo and radiation therapy at the same time?

Yes, in fact it's best to have both at the same time, it's more effective.  Sometimes they give chemo for a few weeks before startng chemo/radiation when they want to shrink the tumor first.

My husband had treatments of cisplatin and carbo/taxol.  (The cisplatin made his ears ring).
