He died on my birthday, as did my aunt two years ago-of cancer. Most of my family has died from some kind of cancer or another. Three years ago I lost a dearly beloved pet cat. Now my kitty, Becky, has cancer. I am too stubborn to just give up as long as I have a thread of hope to hold on to. As hard as it is, with time, the pain of loss will lessen. I promise you that. Remember, you are not alone.
