Polcycthemia Vera

I was reading about a lady that huband have this I do not take med. I have had it for 14yrs. It was not on the list so I put Leukemia because it can turn into it.

My husband has had P.V. for over 30 years now, he is now 76 years old, and is in  pretty good health, he has taken no meds for it, but has had blood tests every month, when his Blood count got high, they would take a unit of blood from him, his PV has now turned to Myelofibrosis, where his body will stop making any new blood for him, we were told there is no treatment and no help for him. No one, know much about it. We have seen 3 of the best doctors. Good luck to you. Janice
