I am a 74 year old female with Kidney cancer.  I was on Sutent for 4 weeks, but the doctor did not like the results of my blood work after taking it and the side effects. He is now going to start me on Temsiroloimus (TORISEL).. I will be given the injection once a week for 4 weeks.
How good or bad is this chemo treatment and will I have many side effects.  What scares me is I am not young and I am afraid I will not be able to tolerate this treatment. Please, if anyone can give an insite about this I will be very greatful. Thank You .... oldmom
