This may sound weird, but I feel a great need to 'nest'.  I don't want to work and I only want to take care of my husband.  He is doing well for the diagnosis for now, he has metastatic prostate cancer........but I don't want to do anything but stay home, clean house and cook nutritional foods so it will go away.  Now, I know it won't go away, but that's how I feel.

Anyone else feel this way?

I think it is perfectly normal.  my husband was diagnosed in october and I felt I had to just have everything at home perfect for him.  I still do feel that way alot.

It is a tough road, just take day by day.

Best of luck

Robin

Kathy I can relate, My prayers are with you to be strong , for your husband, but to yourself, also, its sooo hard, I do understand, I lost my father and husband to cancer, just recently 5mt ago, you never seem to forget, it is ok to do what your doing, it keeps you focus and grounded It is in gods hands, because everyone is different, I have learn that, I get angry, sometimes I dont want to leave the house, but I know I have to be strong for my father and husband, plus I have two beautiful daughters, and one grandson, that need me more then ever now, So as much as I may want to give up , I cant. I pray for you and your family.
