It's been 36 days today since I finished radiation. Sitting here in my hotel room next to MD Anderson in Houston relaxing because my first ct-scan of my head and neck showed no cancer. I'm in remission, I'm a cancer survivor!

Thanks be to God.

Rick

CONGRATS!!  RICK!!!  I know what it feels like to hear that news and be a caregiver. My Husband is now going on 5 years cancer free from Nasophyrangeal cancer that was thankfully localized. But he had all the Radiation plus IMRT treatments and chemo too. So it was tough for both of us. We live in CT and have some excellent Hospitals here on the East coast, But MD Anderson is a GEM of a Hospital. I am very happy for you. God Bless and stay well

That is just fantastic!!!!  Great news, very glad to hear it!

I want to thank you for your kind thoughts and words!  I have read a few other things that you have said to other people, and it's people like you that give the rest of us the hope and strength to keep moving forward!

My husband just had all of his upper teeth pulled today.  So, it's nice and quiet at the house today!  HAHAHA!  Did you have to have teeth pulled before you started your rad?

Congratulations! This is a much better club of which to be a member. I'm sure the member benefits will be much more to your liking.

Here's to many more clean scans!

Thanks everyone. It is a great day.

Babzilla, no I did not have to have any teeth pulled. That's one thing I was able to miss out on.

Thanks again,

Rick
