Hair Growth After Chemo

Shaved husbands head before he started his chemo treatments. When will it startt to grow back? Any tips on what I can do to help it while it's growing back? Like, scalp treatments etc.?

any hairdresser will tell you that the hair will start growing in about a month after treatmment, when it does treat it like a casheme sweater, use baby shampoo, don't rub it just let the shampoo go over it.rinse and let water run down over it, don't rub the towel around on it, blot the hair and let dry by itself. no blowers or heat, it will grow back beautiful. i lost my hair with cemo,twice and both times it has come back thick curly as usual. but this time the rate of growth is slower because i am on tarceva. good luck and your welcome.
