The last message I posted had to do with hyponotism and no answers received!
Now, I have just returned from Hawaii with my other daughter and i'm rereading all the answers and I thought some of you might like to hear the latest.
My daughter seemed to be at a plateau (not eating but not in pain because we had her on heavy medication - patches and extra morphine when the pain got really bad) She has a food supplement everynight interveinously thru her picline). She is NOT THE SAME PERSON I KNEW ALL MY LIFE! She is very subdued, speaks in a whisper, just no emotion at all. But, because she seems to be o.k. for now we decided that I could go on a trip to Hawaii with my other daughter (who also has been a caregiver with me) so that we could recoup a bit. It really did us both good and now we are back home.
Yesterday, we called home from Hawaii and my granddaughter told me that my daughter and her husband were leaving today (and also my granddaughter) on a trip to Southern California in an R.V.! I was so surprised and pleased that she could do it.
Then, today - I called and her husband said everything was GREAT! They were on their way South. I talked to my daughter and she sounded the same - low voice, etc. but she said she felt good! I am so pleased that she can get out of the house and do something. I don't know exactly when they will be home but I'm hoping everything goes o.k. Small blessings come at the most unusal times! Will let you know the next chapter in this amazing life we are leading. Thanks to all of you for answering my e-mail - you have all helped.
