I had a lapro partial nephrectomy in late November, 2007, for RCC clear cell, Stage 1, Grade 2. I had subsequent hemoraging,readmitted, treated, and went through 6 weeks of IV iron infusion treatments. It has now been a little over 4 months since the surgery and I am still feel severe fatigue starting mid-day almost everyday. Mornings I do well and then it is down hill from there. Blood counts have improved but the fatigue continues. I am on no chemo therapy as the tumor was 1.7cm by 2.5cm.
Has anyone experienced this after removal of a small tumor? My gut tells me I need a full body scan including bones, but my surgeon is very conservative and doesn't believe anything beyond a abdominal CT is necessary.
Any input is greatly appreciated.
