I just wanted to ask a question that may be to hard to answer. My dad has stomach and esophageal cancer and has currently doing testing for 2 mths now ,as doctors have been trying to their game plan in place.Which they pretty well do now.
Anyway they are going to do a few chemo and or radiatio treatments for the esophagus b4 starting surgery which we know the stomach will be removed completely and there will be a team of surgeons to work on esophagus as well as the stomach.
My dad ask me on the way to the doctors yesterday(as he knows we hav ebeen searching the net for answers and help)if I new or have read anything on what kind of life that he will be able to lead after he starts to recover. Now we know that there are a lot of big risks with surgery and nothing is agiven as far as being cured but I am trying to keep his spirits up with good news.My dad is a carpenter and has always been a hard worker and you know how people are when they start to lose that freedomĀ of choice. He is not one to like setting around.Which should play in his favor toward recovery.Sorry for the running on.Just always looking for Hope.Thank You.
