I had continuous chemotherapy for 3 cycles consisting of 9 weeks in total; followed by surgery & heated chemotherapy; and now I am on my last chemotherapy cycle (3 weeks) of continuous therapy. I am "cancer free". The chemotherapy worked to reduce the tumor so the surgeon made a clean cut. Private Reply Quote Reply to This Message Kobeno Message: RE: treatment Survivor Kobeno Recommend this Message Report Abuse Email a Friend Track this Message [Remove] Subject: RE: treatment Date: 04/07/2008 sorry, i forgot to mention the treatments: 5 FU (or Flurouracil) was continuous; every cycle I was given Cisplatin (or Platinol) and Epirubicin (or Pharmorubicin). Just so you know, because of my youth (I am a 32 year old female) I was given quite an agressive therapy. Hope this helps.
