Hi,my name is Paul A. I am a Viet Nam vet and I have been in the Agent Orange Registry since they started it.
I have been recently diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Tonsil - Left.
I would please like to here from any Vets from Viet Nam or Korea during 1962 to 1975 that have contracted this cancer.

As it stands now, it does not seem that the Veterans Administration classifies this cancer as: "Respiratory cancers: Cancers of the lungs, larynx, trachea, and bronchus."
We all can help each other!
Thank you
Paul A.

Paul, my father was diagnosed with this type of cancer in May of '05. He just underwent a modified radical neck dissection and we are starting radiation and chemo July 18th. Has anyone else responded to your message? My father was in Viet Nam from July '69 to July '70 with the 542nd signal co. attached to the 10th Aviation Batallion. He wasn't there long but apparently long enough to have effects from agent orange. Two years ago he was diagnosed with Type II diabetes with no family history and no health risks associated with diabetes. My father rarely drank and only smoked for 5 years and that was 30 years ago. The only logical explanation for the diabetes and cancer is agent orange. I look forward to your response, Sharon

Sharon W.- You have been the only responder to the first message. I don't know where the 10th Aviation Batallion, but ALL of RVN is considered with Agent Orange Disability. The Type 2 diabetes is also a disability associated with Agent Orange exposier. I do hope that your DAD has initiated a claim for Type 2 and his cancer. Also give him my best as I start radiation treatments July 21.
Sharon if you or your Dad need more info please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Thank you for the response
