HI Sorry about your father in law. One important thing is to find out if his doctor is a MM specialist. If he isn't find one and get him there. Some doctors don't know how to treat MM, and causes more problems.. He needs to get the right treatment right form the beginning. Good luck, even if things look really bad there is always hope and all these new medications work wonders. Don't give up. Where does he live and where is he being treated? Marion
