I just wanted to say thank you all for posting, your stories and experiences. I have found so much good information, support and kindness that is shared on this site!
Listening to things that the patients are going through, side effects of treatment and the way this illness has changed our lives. Learning to cope. The phyisical effects of the cancer. Like change in taste, memory issues, visual cues, controlling seizures, depression etc.....I have learned so much about myself and how this affliction has effected me just by reading your stories. Things that I never realized. Just being aware has made every day easier. The stories of survival that inspire me to continue on.
Listening to the caregivers has given me a whole new perspective on the challenges my wife faces. It has been very humbling to listen to your stories of the challenges that you are faced with. The fear and sorrow, success' and celebrations.
The compassion shared by the caregivers. They lift up the new members (caregivers) with information and advise to deal with doc's etc... Most importantly they really help them deal with us, the patients.GOD BLESS the caregivers! You are the unsung hero's in this war.Thank you all,Chris
