Follow-Up 8 Yr. Old

Just following up on my daughter...she had another blood-test this past week.  First blood-test showed high thyroglobulin 204.  This past test slightly better but now 191.  I understand normal is 20.  All other thyroid function normal.  I have an appt. with pediatric endo April 30 but kind of freaking as to what she could have.  I've been reading about Hashimoto's but of course until appt. I am just speculating.  I am a pap thyca survivor (will be getting thyrogen this summer) and 1 yr. post scan.  My older sister also has suspicious nodules (had biopsy) and will be seeing my surgeon this May.  This whole thyroid disease thing sucks and the thought of having this be passed onto my babies is frightening.  Anyone have child in such circumstance?  Thanks in advance.

My heart goes out to you. This would be worst fear.  I had thyca 7yrs ago and it came back.  What if I somehow contaminated my kids from the RAI?   hate that my 9yr old daughter is always freaking out about lumps she feels around her neck.  It just breaks my heart.
