I was recently injured and admitted to the ER where they had to do a CT scan. I had several broken facial bones, but the CT scan showed that I had diffuse bulky lymphadenopathy within the mediastinum. A bulky node in Right paratracheal region(2.8cmx2.8cm), a right perihilar node(1.8cm in diameter), extensive prevascular lymphadenopathy (noncalcified)?. Within the aorticopulmonary window a 1.6cm in diameter node and prevascular nodes approximately 1.5cm. I am really concerned. The records from the ER said it could be neoplastic and consideration for lymphoma should be given. I also found some nodes in the supraclavicular region that are palpable. I'm not really sure if I should notify my Dr. about the ones in my neck or just wait to see what the repeat CT scan shows in two weeks. I have no other symptoms other than some nights I have "night sweats". They don't drench my clothing like what I have seen as B symptoms, but they are bothersome. I don't want to over-react, but I don't know how serious to take all of this. Any comments would be greatly appreciated. I have 4 children and if it is cancer, I want to find it quickly. Thanks
