Hi all, I'm new to this site and from reading the various messages already posted, feel the members have formed quite a family atmosphere.  My sister was diagnosed with Esophageal cancer in Dec.  Since Oct. she has lost 110 pds.  She has a stint inserted in her tumor to allow liquid or pureed foods to enter her stomach.  Yesterday's Dr's appointment resulted in the decision to have a feeding tube inserted.  Does anyone have any support, advice or guidance on this subject.

Appreciate the time taken to read and or respond to this thread.

I am so, so sorry your sister has this awful cancer. What stage is she ? Has she had any chemo or radiation ? The feeding tube hopefully will help her get some calories in her her body. I hope it is OK with you if I pray for you and your sister. Please keep us posted.
