Thank you for your responses about Quercentin Plus (Prostasol). We have been reading about Dr. Peiffer in Switzerland who uses prostasol made in Holland with the same effect of lower PSA. I spoke to the FDA about getting the product for personal use and they said I could but it would take a long time to get it through the process. So other patients said they were using something similar made in Mexico and shipped through Seacoast Vitimins in Canada...no problem with FDA.
My husband will have hormone tests to see effects however, he did experience breast tenderness and redness...same as if you were on Lupron. We have an appt. at MD Anderson for a consult on 4/23 and then leave for Dr. Peiffers (Aeuskulap Hospital) in Switzerland 5/6. The point is to avoid Lupron as long as possible since it appears that patients do not become immune to the herbs as quickly as they do on the Lupron. Dr. says the same question exists with Lupron...lower PSA does it retard cancer growth and extend life.
