Her next option is to find a clinical trial. We haven't a clue where we should be starting with this. How does one research a clinical trial? I know she will be recommended for one from the hospital that she's been told to go to, however, as a caregiver.... what do we do? The only way a cure for cancers will be found is through clinical trials. This is at the bottom of every page of the NCCN (National Comprehensive Cancer Network) protocols. NIH will even pay for your travel expenxes. BTW:ACS(American Cancer Society) recommends using clinical trials early in your disease, as well as, a last ditch effort.
