My husband has not started his treatment yet but for what ever this is worth---try a humidifier at his bedside for miosture. Be sure to drain, rinse and change the water daily. There have been sme discussion about bacterial growth with humidifers if they are not rinsed daily.

we have also found the humidifier helpful - we keep one running in the bedroom as well as in the livingroom.

Thanks for this suggestion. I will get one over the weekend. Hopefully it will help even if its a little relief. Carol

I've never bought a humidifier before and I see there are cool mist and warm mist. Which one would be best for the mucus ??? Deb
