We found out yesterday that my husband's PET scan was clear!!!!! So that would make his official stage T1N2bM0. I still can't believe we got a clean scan - how fantastic! His primary tumor was only .8 centimeters, but had spread to 15 of the 49 lymph nodes our surgeon removed!
We start 35 sessions of Tomo-Therapy, and he will also have Cisplatin infusions on weeks 1, 4, and 7 of radiation. Thanks to everyone out here for all your kind thoughts and words, but mostly for the great suggestions and opinions! The best way to prepare for this is knowledge, and thanks to everyone who has helped!
So, we are going to have a nice relaxing weekend and thank goodness we have something positive to go into this with!!!!!
