Subject: Metaplasia

I have pernicious anemia, which is a condition of the stomach linings inability to absorf viramin B12. with this anemia the risk of getting stomach cancer is higher. Now metaplasia has shown up in a biopsy.

Does any one know if the metaplasia will turn into cancer?
