Hi Shari,

I hope this gets to you. I'm new at this website. I do like this regimen the best. I have given this recommendation to patients who have failed regenecare which is a prescribed cream. I would have your son try that 1st and if it's not working, or he needs additional hydration - use the green tea serum and epidermal repair. All these products can be purchased via the internet. The epidermal repair is costly, but I think is worth it. Usually the Erbitux rash is primarily on the face/scalp, and sometimes continues on the chest/back. I would use these expensive creams/serums on the face/head only. I hope this is helpful. Tell your son to hang in there -- we've seen great results with the Erbitux!

Hi Nicole-

I am not sure if I missed something, but what product did you recomend for Erbitux?  It seems like your post is in reply to another post but I could not track it.  My Dad also needs help with the rash.

Sorry, Dina. You should probably ask for a Rx for Regenecare cream - this works for many and is covered by insurance. If that fails, however, I like this regimen: a gentle cleanser by skinceuticals -- either simply clean or their extra gentle cleanser. Next, look for Neova calming green tea serum - this can be applied several times a day and is very soothing. Over this apply a hydrating cream - ie. Skinceuticals epidermal repai - this aids in healthy skin cell turnover and is very soothing as well. A good website where you can find these is the skinstore.com. I hope this helps!

Hi Nicole, I just read your information in regard to Eurbitux rash.  My niece is on eurbitux as well as chemo.  She is managing the rash with some prescript creams.  I will pass along the other products as well.  Thank you.  Have you heard of any one growing additional hair in places , like peach fuzz on arms and torso?  Also, have you heard how long anyone has stayed on Eurbitix?  I think the docs are thinking of keeping her on the drug once they take her off chemo.

Thank you for any information.

I have been on Erbitux with radiation for head and neck cancer for about a month--tried absolutely everything for the burning and discomfort, nothing really worked until I tried Aquafor cream (by Eucerin).  It worked for me almost immmediately,  easing almost every symptom so I can see my way clear to actually completing the course of treatment--hope it helps.
