In my experience, Sutent costs about $8000 for a months supply in the US. You need a prescription for it. If you have pharnacy coverage, great. If not, perhaps you can approach Pfizer with an finacial appeal.
As for brain secondaries? I am not sure if it can cross the blood brain barrier, but your doctor would know best.
