Hi all, i was diagnosed recently with et and my platlets are 950 and rising at 100 pw. im starting interferon on monday. Can some one please give me some indication of life expectancy with this disease. Is it blood cancer? The doctor seems to sugar coat things and want the truth. i want some idea of how long i have left so i can live it up and spend money instead of investing for future. Any imput would be most welcome.
