Two weeks ago my girlfriend had an ovarian cyst removed (she's 43),
and will begin chemo soon for a period of about 6 months. She
will receive the 'most aggressive' version through an abdominal port in
one session and into the vein in another.
My
question: We've heard that the side-effects can range from almost
none, to very severe. I would like to know if the community here
has any ideas for reducing side-effects of chemo? The doctors
will give her medications, I'm sure, but you people that have been
through this may have advice for me to pass along. All replies
appreciated.
