Hi everyone, it's been a little while since I've posted.  My husband is just over eight months since being diagnosed with GBM and we had an MRI yesterday and found out today there is no progression.  I'll take a stable MRI any day!

He's just about to start cycle 6 of 5/23 Temodar.  He's doing very well, still golfing, working around the house/yard, etc.  Life is fairly normal right now and that's perfectly OK with me.

Just wanted to share some good news.

Best wishes, hugs, and prayers to all of you.

Nancy

**husband dx 8/07 GBM, surgery, 7-weeks IMRT radiation/Temodar, currently on 5/23 Temodar

That is very encouraging news, I am sure you and your family must be celebrating!!!!!  How old is your husband?  My Dad is 73 dx'd 12/07 --going on month 2 of 5/23 next week. You can see my posts on 4/28 GBM 1V- My Dad.  He is very tired right now --which was a big worry to us until I got input from many on this site and we saw Dr yesterday.

Did your husband experience weakness and tired, post radiation? If so, it looks like he bounced back if he is golfing.  I am hoping my Dad can get to that point.  Not eating right now either.

Anyway......thank you for sharing your encouraging news. I am very happy for you all.

Nancy that is great news. Congratulations on the success your husband has had to date. My wife also has had nothing but clean scans after as many rounds and works and drives, lives her life. Keep up the good work!

Great news!  I'm very happy for both of you.

My next MRI is this coming Tuesday and I'm in the nervous stage.  I've been off Temodar for a year and have had good MRIs all along.

Fingers crossed.

Larry
