Over Wieght /Obese And Rcc

My question – for the past year I read a number of publications concerning RCC and over weight /obese individuals. According to those publications, mainly from Europe, that states beyond any daunt that over weight and obese individual tend and develop RCC more often than underweight individuals. Did any one was told by their doctors that over weight causes RCC; would be interesting to read, members responses. 

Obesity "causiing" RCC is not accurate, because there are more obese people who never get RCC than those that do, and some people who get RCC are quite thin.  All that the docs can say is that more of the people who have RCC appear to be overweight than people in the general population.

No!My husband is thin,and has rcc.So far Thanks to God he is doing well.It's been 2 years,he is on nexavar.
