Tomo Radiation

Subject: tomo radiation

I don't understand the difference between "tomo" radiation and other types of radiation.  I was treated by the "Trilogy linear accelerator" and understood that this was supposed to be the latest in radiation treatment.  Any feedback for me?  Thanks, Donna

If you google it as a "vs" you'll get the explanation.  Tomo is basically the next generation of IMRT.  This difference is in the directedness of the "cone" of radiation.  That's my limited knowledge anyway....
