How much of a problem can it cause? My internist had me have an abdomen MRI with contrast because a cyst was found on my liver during a preop CT. The MRI was on 4/13 and I'm scheduled to have my RAI on Wednesday 5/7 after LID of two weeks. I didn't say anything to my endo because I never thought of it being a concern. Anyone know the timing and/or the seriousness of negating the RAI and WBS? If they used Iodine, but there are other contrast that they can use that doesn't require Iodine. So check with your Endo right away, they will want to verify what kind of Contrast you have gotten. They may even order a Iodine 24 hour urine test at the Mayo clinic, and if so that takes like 3-4 weeks to get the results. Same thing happened to me. Private Reply Quote Reply to This Message
