I don't know too many specific answers for you, only words of hope. My Dad had bladder cancer that was detected too late and was very aggressive and invasive. Your son's however, sounds quite different. The fact that he is so young and that the tumor is non-invasive and was found before it spread is great news. Carry that with you while you go through this journey. The journey sucks, but it can be won. Don't lose any hope because sometimes that is all you will have. The important thing is that your son get on a treatment plan as soon as possible. Please look at the Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network's website at www.bcan.org. There is some very helpful information on the site. I started as a volunteer there after my Dad died from the disease. There is also another great site, the bladder cancer webcafe. You would have to google it because I do not remember the web address. I am sorry I don't have any specific help for you. Just know that there is one more person out here who is pulling for your son.
God bless.
