Torisel

Has anyone seen any positve results of Torisel?

Yes.  My husband had slight shrinkage of his lung mets on his first scan and stable mets on his second scan last November.  He has been off treatment since Jan.  Had scans last week and we meet the onc on Wednesday to see where he is at.  Side effects were not too bad.  Mainly bad taste (that ended after about the first month) and feet pain. 

I have read many others who have also had luck with the Torisel.

Thank you for your reply. My husband has only had 3 treatments of Torisel so far. He has not near the side affects as he did with Sutent.

Just wondering how your husband is doing on Torisel.  My husband just finished his 8th round of Sutent, and is having really good results, but I like to stay as informed as possible with the other options.
