Vitamin C Infusion/low temprature

Hi everyone. My dad has secondary liver cancer, and has always suffered from high fevers since he got this 6 months ago. Since starting vitamin C infusions, his fevers go down the evening after the treatment. But last night after his treatment, it REALLY went down...to 33.7c which is 92f. Dangerously low. Has anyone experienced this.
