Chemo-Therapy ??

Greetings,
I just had colon cancer surgery (Anterior Resection) 6 weeks ago. Thank G-d the surgery was succesful and all the cancer was removed.
Initially the Dr said it was a T1 but after they examined the section they removed they determined it was T3. Patology also indicated N0/3 M0.
The Dr is now recomanding Chemo-Therapy to prevent future speading of cancer cells. I am very afraid of Chemo-Therapy due to short term and long term side effects.
My question:
Did anyone have a similar surgery and decided no to have the Chemo-Therapy. I am 63 years old and would like to know if there are alternative treatment to Chemo-Therapy.
Any HELP will be appreciated.
Sincerely - Addy

Good morning Addy I think you are very wise to be doing some research on alternative treatments before just blindly accepting that chemotherapy is the only thing that can help you. Possibly it may do just the opposite. I am just one of an ever increasing number of cancer patients who are turning to natural/alternative treatments that have no negative side effects and are producing good results and if you are interested in learning more about the protocols that we have found effective please send me a private message. Here are a few links that might be helpful for you as you search for the path that is right for you. First is a report on the true percentages of remissions and cures for a variety of cancers when traditional treatment is used. Thankfully this board is now allowing it to be posted. http://www.curenaturalicancro.com/oncologists-criticize-chem This next link is just one of many that offer good information regarding alternative protocols. This page is specific for colon cancer.http://www.cancertutor.com/Other/Colon_Cancer.html Be Well! ..... Sheila

Hi Shemay, I am very interested in the protocols that you find effective. My mom has been recently diagnosed with IIIB squamous lung cancer and we are really scared of chemotherapy/radiation which is recommended by the doctor. I am new to this forum and do not know how to send private message. Can you send me your protocols in some other way? Thanks a lot.

Private reply can be sent by clicking on bottom corner of message box where it says private reply, so the whole board does not get the message. I also posted some alternative info that might interest you on Should I give up now? which is on this page also.

Where is the report on true remissions and cures on altrnative approaches?.  Where can I find it.? Does alternative have a 100 % cure rate? If it were, the report would on the front pages of all newspapers and on every news broadcast.   Where is that data.?  All of us who are being treated currently need to see this information to make an intelligent decision.
