Subject: White blood count
Date: 05/14/2008

I am post surgery by almost two years.  My last three blood tests are showing my WBC is climbing (this has been over six months).  As of today my WBC is over 10,000.  Was as low as 4500 six months ago.  Not sure why.  Trying to contact dr. and ask, but he keeps saying my other numbers are all in a row - sooooooooo.

any help out there?

j

My WBC is always very low and still gets flagged by the lab as "abnormal."  Do you think it's possible you have a low-grade infection?   What does the doctor say?  Consider a hematologist if you don't get answers!  I had to go through testing because my count is so low.   Let us know.  Tara
