My Aunt Died Today

She passed very piecefull the way she wanted and painfree.I new it was bad this morning when the nurse told me the 2hrs of morphine wasnt doing it.she never woke up since monday and I agreed to the morphine drip and the nurse said that then no more of the other meds and I said thats ok she need to have no pain and go to be with god and her parent.I got the call and she went to become and angel.Then they called and asked if i would donate her cornias and I agreed if it give someone a change to see she would want that.its so hard becasue we just found out 6 weeks ago she had cancer and she tried all the treatments but it was to far and she gave it her all. God bless you aunt Lenore I love and will miss you so very much.we have a special place in eachothers hearts.

I just joined this site today and I'm so sorry to her of your Aunt. I'm sure so many people would agree with your decision to not keep her in pain any longer if they've done all they can.

I am so glad I got to spend the last month with her and help her in every way I could.she didnt want a funeral her wishes were to be cremated and her and he dog Burbons ashes be put in with her parent my grandparents and she got her wish.Her and Burbon are now with my grandparents today.She had a very bad life with a man of 42 yrs she divorced 5yrs ago her children should be ashame of themselfs the way they treated there mom...I tell you I am Proud she is my aunt and Love her with all my heart. Rest in piece Aunt Lenore.She would of been 66 on June 24th she never had a birthday party .SO were are going to have one for her to celabrate her life she had with us minus her kids and X.that is what she wanted.She was a very hard person the only way I can explain her is from the movie steel magnolias Shirley Mclain who played Weezer well my aunt was Weezer and I guess I have some of weezers blood in me because people tell me I am alot like my aunt and to me that I am proud of.
