My brother had one lung removed in october do to asbestoes.he had 4 treatments ofpremetrexed and cisplatin.he has started to have fluid buildup in stomach and lung-he now has a drain at each site.drains about 1 liter a day--his weight now is 140lbs from 180.his oncologist says that chemo didnt work-- he is also on protein drinks to help maintain his food intake -was als otaking marijuana pills to help.Has anyone had any success with another combo of chemo drugs? My brother is only 48 years old with two little boys-he wants to live for them .thank you in advance with any information you can offer.
