Quanity Of Rai

I have had RAI twice with highest dose of 150.  Could someone tell me if they have had more then that?

I had the 150, too, and my doctor told me there was only one level higher than that which was even considered for me.  The oncologist also said 150 was pretty aggressive but that he might have taken it a step higher in my case (tall cell).  I'd be interested in hearing what others were told.  150 is the most I personally have heard or read of anyone having.  God bless you and to everyone having to go through this.  Tara

i am starting my fourth round of rai-131. i had surgery on june 21,2005. (eight hours worth). after being told i couldnt be helped in munice, i was refered to goshen.Center for cancer care. i had 300mci my first time ,188mci my second time,and 300 mci my third time. in two weeks i will take another dose(amount yet to be determined). with out it i surly would have been a gonner by now. anything less than 200mci you can go home and keep yourself seperated from your family haveing direct contact with you for a few days but at least you at home and not the hospital!!!
