Urgent Help - Liver Metastases

Hi All

I am just fed up to be honest, and I really need some help. I have looked for weeks and weeks on the internet, and I cannot help my mum.

My mum was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in February 08. She underwent the Whipples operation, but during the procedure the surgeon found a cancer nodule in the liver. He also confirmed that 5 of 12 lymph nodes were infected with cancer cells. 2 month laters we had a CT scan, and she had multiple tumours in liver. We have undergone Ozone treatment, and Ukrain (herbal chemo with high success rate), but nothing has helped. She had another CT scan and she has more tumours in the liver now.

What can I do? I want her to live, but I dont know what to do. Liver transplant is out apparently as she has a secondary cancer from pancreas. I dont care what it costs, and whether it is new or not, what can I do to help to beat this. I dont want her to have a few months left.

Really sorry to know about your mother.At this juncture chemotherapy is the only hope that can prolong life by at least a year.Who knows something curative might have come up by that time.

She can be given Avastin along with  Gemcite & Oxaliplatin(3 cycles).Alternatively Terceva with Gemcite & Oxaliplatin can be given .After this, she can undergo a transartery radioembollization with Ittrium.I am sure with these treatments a minimum survival of 2 years can be ensured.Please consult with your doctor regarding the above treatement options.Do not loose heart.I am a liver cancer patient with mets on lungs, now successfully enjoying my fouth year with help of chemotherapy ,surgery,radio embollization & Avastin therapy.I am quite active at 38.One thing,Give her plenty of wheat grass juice.That helps a lot.

Hi Jamie Sorry to hear that you are so upset. You got a message from some guy their about wheatgrass. I dont know about that but - if it works for that guy.. absolutely get it for your mum.. I juice every day. Tell your mum not to give up. She has to fight! I had kidney cancer and have been clear now for a year.
