4 Weeks Since My Beautiful Mum Died

my mum died from lung cancer a month today,she was diagnoised just under a year ago.

 

this is such a horrible journey with so many ups and downs and the unknown is so frighting,

 

my mum was if you can say the word,lucky as she never had a day that she was ill,she had chemo with no problems and radiation,i think that made her weak until she died.

 

i just want people to know that if anyone wants to talk or ask me anything i will try to help.as best i can.

 

im going to try and do fund raising as i might not be able to help my beautiful mum anymore but i might be able to help others.

 

i also want to say to fellow sufferers,never give up.where theres breath,theres life.

I just found this website...I'm sorry for what you've gone thru.  I lost my 19 year old daughter Dec. 2006, just 3 weeks after we found out she had lung cancer.  I commend you for opening up to talk to others and to help with fund raising.  Best of luck.

i am worried my mum has secondary lung cancer from her gastirc tumor which is in her lymph system and easily able to spread....she has such a cough and coughs stuff up constantly all through the night too....she was told it was hay fever but we think the cancer has spread to her lungs....she has been told no more treatment or operations and we wonder if the hay fever diagnosis was almost a put off to see how she goes for a while without telling her bad news......the tabs they gave her worked for a while....so called hay fever tabs...but now just 6 wks later the cough is back and still severe.....i read on the web it should have signs of blood in the phlegm....would this be so? i wondered if at first there would be no blood...she is 80 in 3wks time and it has been 9mths since her surgery and at that time they said its highly likely it will show up somewhere within a yr and 80% wont go past the yr as it is very advanced and very aggressive...so much so they wouldnt have removed her stomach had they known this...

My mom passed away seven months ago. It is not easy but God helps us. May God continue to comfort you and your family.
