Rad001 (Everolimus)

Subject: RAD001 (everolimus)

I've seen several articles in the Cancer Compas about clinical trials for RAD001 and its long(er) term progression free survival taking everolimus.  My husband is currently in a clinical trial of Nexavar/AMG386.  His periodic scans have shown no new growth (metastatic RCC - kidney spread to lungs) and actually some shrinkage.  The trial is over in June.  Just curious as to whether anyone has had experience with everolimus -- results, side effects, etc.
