Date: 05/31/2008 I've had a chronic cough since my surgery 5 weeks ago and it has gradually gotten worse. It's to the point that it makes me gag so bad in the early mornings that I have to throw up. I'm scared. I will be telling my doctor/surgeon on Wed. when I go to see him. It doesn't cause me any pain, it's just annoying and now that it's making me get sick. Date: 06/02/2008 Please do mention it to your doctor. He will want to rule out a lung blood clot among other things. The fact that you just had surgery warrants a bit more concern for this.
