i Hope Someone Can Help!!!

My mom was diagnosed with stage IIIB lung cancer in May. She completed the first part of treatment at the beginning of July which consisted of chemo and radiation. The doctors are not seeing her again until the first of September. They didn't even schedule her for blood work or any follow-up appointments for 2 entire months. I read that the time in-between chemo sessions is usually 21-28 days. Does anyone have an answer to this? I REALLY hope that someone can help because this is making me crazy. Thanks for any feedback!

Juliusmonkey - I agree with you - two months time seems too long. I saw my oncologist monthly with blood work for each visit until my CEA levels went down then saw him every 6 weeks and wound up seeing him every 3 months. I would be calling to see if that is not too much time between doctor visits. dotdot
