Low Platelets

Subject: low platelets
Date: 06/04/2008
My dad is has been delayed twice going in for his 3rd RICE treatment. His platelets are too low. He's supposed to have this 3rd RICE treatment before he starts to have his stem cell harvested for his transplant. But for the past month his platelets have been to low. I think they were in the 20's. Has anyone else experienced the low platelet problem?
