Subject: Important question about leep????
Date: 06/04/2008
I had a leep procedure done back in January and I am curious if there is any vitamins that I can take to help better myself. I was diagnosed with CIN 111. I still get bacteria infections and a lil discharge too.Is this normal? I really would like to no if n e one knows of some vitamins that help.Even just to make me feel a lil more healthy than I am feeling??The backpain and everything else tends to wear on you sometimes I was just curious if n e one takes some kind of vitamin to help them threw their days??If you can help I would appreciate it.

I'm sorry you have had continuing complications from LEEP. I did, too. LEEP, unfortunately, has the highest risk of infection, so I get irked when anyone tries to play that down.

The vitamins to take for boosting immunity are vitamin C, beta-carotene, and folate. But going to a professional who can work with you on supplements, etc., would be the best option because that person can tailor the "menu" to your needs. I found an accupuncturist/herbologist who has developed a vitamin/herb supplement program for me that I swear by. After six months, I was finally able to sit down without pain killers and a cushion. I still have to get up and walk, at the end of a work day, or the area still aches a bit. But that is tremendous progress, in my book. I wish I had sought integrative medicine sooner, now.

I started taking Vitamin A, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, folic acid and even some CoQ10

I was diagnosed with HPV CIN II and my doctor wanted to do a LEEP but I decided to re-test and did some research on going the natural way. These vitamins were the recomendations. I got my results on monday and everything has come back negative. My doctor told me to continue to take the vitamins. I would suggest to take these. Also, read the article in the following web page http://www.pap101.com   and read the section on nutrition in the following web page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_papillomavirus ).

Good luck!
