I am a non-medical caregiver for a 75 year old man with kidney, lung and bone cancer. I do 24 hour live-in for 5 days a week with him. The Doctors have told him that they have done all they can except to keep him comfortable.

I want him to have a quality life for the time he has left. I gave up a high paying job to take this client on full-time. Now I wish to provide him with dinners that are nutritious and appealing. He is a "meat & potatoes" eater and I would liketo provide him with a variety. My big problem is cooking for two. I raised six and even now I wind up cooking big batches keeping some for me and giving the rest to one of the kids or another. But with P.M. I don't have that option. and while he will eat left over there is a limit. Any one out ther able to give me an idea or two????
Thanks

Hi Pearl M, I am a kidney cancer patient and have found an
excellent website for organic cooking that is high in omega 3 fats
and includes almost no other types of fat. The site is:
www.cancerRD.com. There is a section for recipes, and when you
click on that section you will see a very large variety of
suggestions.
It is a very good thing that you are doing. Thank you.
